didnt sleep well in the resort, but of course the first night out of home was usually the hardest way to enter lala land...

Spa was the next item, hmmmm never been to a spa before, whats more a korean spa. But doing spa in winter? that would be a hell of a freezing experience! but since we couldnt bring anything except our trunks into the spa, no photos were taken, while a long description would bore anyone to death, so might as well list down the procedures of the spa..

1)shower
2)dipped ourselves naked in a pool
3)hydro-massage therapy (where my phobia of being in water haunted me like nobody's business =_=)
4)oxygenated threrapy (where they put a tube emittin oxygen in front of ur face)
5)grass therapy (where they cover u in medicinal grass and make u sweat like nobody's business)
6)steam room (as in, real steamy.. ah wth jus a room full of steam, whatever you r thinkin...)
7)drink flower tea

the end result?

eh hahaha ok dont get too frightened haha... anyway have to diedie wear back my jeans i wore yesterday cos today's event werent exactly clean either... as in, got chances that we might get dirtied again, so cant put my second pair of beloved jeans on risk... next up, ATV!!

actually is a 4wheel drive around the wilderness of jeju, which is damn cold (cos of the strong winds) and damn muddy (cos it rained the previous nite). but... haha is my first time driving a motorised vehicle (other than a bumper car)got brrake, got accelerator...

we were split up into different groups, unfortunately my bro were separated into the ahjumas' group... in case u dont know ahjuma stands for aunties in korean... haha it was really fun driving the ATV, saw the pple there standing up and drive, much like cycling and standing at the same time, except ATV was a lttle bit trickier cos of the bumpyness of the track and the winds were so strong, it blew me off-balance while standing and driving it... seriious it is THAT strong.. den there's one girl in front of me, whom i later knew her as zhimin, drove her car off track and went up the slope and got stuck. i was behind her at that time, and only have 2 choice
1)drive on
2)help her
OF COURSE HELP HER LA LIM PEI IS A GENTLEMAN OK?! *ahem* eh i mean, i'm a gentleman, of course i had to help her.. so no choice, stop my car in front and helped her put the vehicle down, jamming it onto my shin in the process *ouch!* naturally got a few thanks in return.. oh ya and my jeans were coated with mud.... poor jeans, first gt drenched in seawater and now jejuian mud -_-

whew, finally finished the whole circuit, did my fair share of attempts in driving and standing... quite hungry and went for lunch, which was one of the best in the trip

BBQ black pork!! which is basically meat from a natvie jeju pig, which is naturally black... ahh and the guide showed us how to eat the whole dish. take a piece of lettuce, put a slice of pork a garlic and some bean paste, wrap and pop into your mouth UHMMM damn nice... she oos show how to eat seaweed with rice, use the chopstick and wrap the seaweed around a clusteer of rice and pop into my mouth! *ahh... i smell vinegar....*

next we went to the fliming scene of the jewel in the palace, which is called big long gold... haha is da chang jin la.. the photos... well the post got someone complain is too draggy and so focused on the nicer parts, so no photos for this stop, cos is really not interesting...

we go climb mountain! haha is actually walking the stairs up, was damn tiring.. it's called seongsan sunrise peak, dont ask me why its name is liddat... anyway this was the first place that i actually took the effort to interact with the teens in the tour, cos we decided to let the ahjumahs take their own sweet time to climb while we faster dash up... ok photos... i realised i hadnt had enough so have to drag some from the digi cam...

the map... God knows what the scale is (=_=)

from where i stand, i can see exactly the part of the cities that are brighter than the rest of the region, which is damn cool!! too bad my cam and the digi cam couldnt capture the beautiful scene.... later even more columns of light befall onto the cities there, much like the war of the worlds... a digi cam version of this phenomenon

wow, the wonderful feeling when you witness mother nature's works unveiling in front of you.... ok time to show the teenagers of the tour

ok from left to right, me my bro jiehan ziwen(?) zhimin zhihui zhengmo(?) cheng yong(?) and 2 more missing kids, the americanised 2 XD
haha the question marks represent that i dont really know the exact spelling of their names...
anyway both me and my bro got to know them better during the descent, after all the rest of them are cousins/siblings and only 2 of us were the odd ones out. jiehan is the same age as my bro, zhihui same age as me, zhihui and zhengmo(?) sec3 this year, cheng yong is p5? or p4? couldnt remember cos he acted like some p2 kids hahaha no la.... but the best part is ziwen(?) just finished psle this year (=_=) the first 3 letters were WTH?! i thought she in secondary school already! appearances sure are deceiving hahaha... in case you are wondering if i sounded in very good terms with them, reality is i'm as raw as sashimi, didnt really talk to them like some buddies or what cos frankly, i'm much better in typing than direct communication *sigh* bad habits just wont go away...

ok so... i couldnt remember what i did next, just that i remembered fondly that i was the last one up the bus and the guide grabbed me up to sing a song to everyone. WALAU sing song, she dont know i break glasses through singing for a living XD of course i never sing, i merely intro myself to the rest of the tour group and that's it! whew... but korean phenomenons didnt end just yet. next we went to cheongjeyeon waterfall

this photo is my parents posing with the mini waterfall behind them, but something caught my eye at the background. have u seen anything weird down there? let's zoom in

seen something popping out from the background? No? let me try highlighting it out

why, it's a dragon head!! whether it's man-made or not, i will not know, but sure is cool to have a dragon inside my hp haha... oh ya the maple trees there are also beautiful

haha really i forgot what's for dinner... but tmw we are going to the country biggest amusement park, Lotte World! who knows what surprises are in hold of us? end of day 2, finally....
