anyone wanna help me change blogskins? Been kinda lazy haha...

Just rejected 2 places in NTU for com.engr at NUS.. Besides NTU being in boon lay *groans*, several factors were the key reason why i didnt want to go to my previously targetted uni.. Kinda ironic, huh? Before army i was so keen about hostel life and now i'm so put off by it.. I mean, no point spending almost 2hours travelling to ntu just for a stupid degree right? Though i reckon' ntu's courses are somewhat less generalised as compared to nus, i dunno its my own feeling after reading through both websites :S and also SMU came into consideration, but i guess that place isnt for me.. I will literally bow out from its openess of the style of education... SIGH wth i only realised nus science rejected me last year when i reapplied for this year.. So hard to get in meh?

Actually wasnt really looking forward to studying again.. I sort of lost that fire to mug and K books for grades.. Somehow i always dunno what to answer when anyone asks a simple 'how are you' question; i mean must i say 'yea i'm fine how u?' just to sastify their expectations? We are living in a world where everyone puts out their strongest front when appearing in their society.. But then again, why pull the glum face during a glorious occasion? Its headache-full in camp if i see everything as a problem-in-the-making, but well army IS problematic, a fact everyone knows but hardly discussed.. NO WAY am i discussing it man, i dont wanna any troubles :S

Been thinking alot again recently, or should i call it brooding, this world sure looks bleak for the future. NAh i think i starting to sound like straits times or TNP.. But sad to admit i havent really gotten up yet after the bad fall last year.. Yes i recognise that fact, Yes i know i must do something about it, but stuck in an army camp? Man what can i still do? Everybody are like poker players; you couldnt know what cards they have on their hands, and you dunno when they will come out with their royal flushes, straights, full houses etc.. S'poreans just cant cooperate with honest intentions.. They are always making use of someone to influence an outcome that ultimately aims to benefit only themselves in the end.. Not that i'm condemming it as something bad, 'cos it IS a fact of life; its normal, its nothing bad, its just human nature.. But i've known of exceptions, of course, and these people are my great buddies and friends, BUT not relatives

wells i didnt end up in the mas selamat ops afterall, but too lazy to blog anyway.. Been a boring 2weeks so far, with everyone on ops and leaving 3 of us behind doing standby, and this nightmare sets to carry on for another 2 weeks! zzzzz

I really wonder how much it takes to be a happy person, especially in s'pore.. From primary school to secondary, to JC and now in NS, i've seen all kinds of people with different characters and attitudes but they mostly share the same phenomenom: they are unhappy with their current state of life. i dont know, but 70% of the conversations seem to be complaints, frustrations, unhappiness, high expectations for the future, thinking that their lives could have been much better etc etc etc.. Somehow i wish the 30% could be more than this, just 50% will do, but is it really so hard to be happy nowadays? Been wondering much but i didnt really pondered too deep into it..

Humanity is a scary thing; you just couldnt understand it in whatever angles you looked. Forget about understanding the universe or dinosaurs, try grasping fully the facts about humanity and really, its the greatest achievement of all times.. Is there a need to approach friends with a dagger hiding among your body? And must we always treat every friend who come with a defensive mindset? For so long ever since dunno when, i regretfully started playing this game again in NS.. My platoon mates said i was too kind to survive, but is that wrong? Is it wrong to think about things from all prospects? If it's fatal to even simply lend a helping hand and get cheated in the end, should we even consider stop helping others in need? If only we could think more before we speak, life is just so much better...

i couldnt remember the last time i shivered when i was reading blogs.. i cant be sure if i'm shivering from rage or sorrow, but its kinda hard to pick oneself up after a hard, hard fall.. dont think too highly of yourself pls...

anyway i dont know when i will be posting again, maybe in 2weeks' time? YEAH got tt mas selamat operation again -__- hope i dont end up in some forested area or resevoir

For an uneventful week..

Juz added 3 more gundams.. err well mini ones called BB warriors or something, and they have caught the three kingdom fever! Right now there's a anime series for three kingdom in gundam style, but i dont know how to start finding it though.. So i bought the 3 famous brothers for $12 each at toys'r'us (or whatever the spelling)

Argh my fingers!! zzz anw this is the most troublesome one, looked freaking plain after fixing so i add on lots of red ink to the appropriate places, like the snake design on his blade

Strike Freedom Gundam

my brother bought me this when he went taiwan for holiday.. Why overseas buy these stuffs so cheap ar? This is the largest i had in my collection, scale 1/100, it happily took me 2 hours to complete it.. The best part? Minimum painting... i must get my hands on the super big one, think scale 1/20 or something muahahaha

but of course there are casualties too.. A Calamity gundam and a gundam wing custom.. After all it takes a few spoilt gundam to truly understand how to take care of them, isnt it?

me bad, but this is the neatest place in my room LOL the big one wasnt in the pic so it's on top of my printer :S dunno where to put it though, its too big it will fall over until the wings crack, like seriously...

cheesh, i wonder if life can give us a break sometimes..
